According to Ganivet, HPs recent alliance with Baltimore Technologies will mean a lot to their customers in terms of security. Ganivet also discussed why the company decided to choose Baltimore as opposed another Internet security company. "Baltimore (Nasdaq: BALT) is obviously the best technology in the marketplace today," said Ganivet. "Its the most carriable technology and they separated all the components of the PKI infrastructure."
Ganivet also discussed HPs vision for protecting the secure communication of voice and data. "HPs vision is that more and more the companys Intranet will be blended into the Internet," said Ganivet. "You will not have any more Intranets in the company, and you will be working on the Internet."
